Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026 — what we store on your device, and how you control it.

1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how AgentCorp uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) when you use our website and platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally. By essential cookies we mean those strictly necessary to deliver the service; all other categories load only with your consent.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They let a service remember your session, preferences, and prior activity. We also use related browser technologies — local and session storage — that behave similarly. Throughout this policy, references to 'cookies' include these equivalent technologies.

3. Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be switched off through our consent banner. We use them, via our authentication provider Clerk, to sign you in, keep your session secure, prevent cross-site request forgery, and maintain load balancing. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, they do not require consent. If you block them in your browser, you will not be able to log in or use the platform.

4. Analytics Cookies (Consent-Gated)

With your consent, we use PostHog to understand how the product is used — which features are adopted, where users encounter friction, and how to improve the experience. These analytics cookies load only after you accept them at the consent banner and can be declined without affecting core functionality. We configure analytics to minimize the personal data collected and do not use it to build advertising profiles.

5. Lifecycle & Messaging Cookies (Consent-Gated)

With your consent, we use Customer.io to support onboarding guidance, in-product messaging, and lifecycle email. Where this relies on cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, they load only after you accept them. Transactional messages that are strictly necessary to operate your account — such as security alerts, billing notices, and service updates — are sent regardless of cookie choices because they are part of the service you have requested.

6. No Advertising or Ad-Retargeting Trackers

We do not use advertising cookies, ad-retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking networks, and we do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. You will not be followed around the web as a result of visiting AgentCorp. Any measurement we perform is first-party and used solely to operate and improve the product.

7. The Consent Banner

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is remembered so we do not ask on every visit. Non-essential categories remain inactive until you opt in, and you can change your decision at any time — withdrawing consent stops the associated cookies from loading on subsequent page views. Essential cookies are always active because the service cannot run without them.

8. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you view, block, or delete stored cookies. Blocking non-essential cookies will not break the platform. Blocking essential cookies will prevent authentication and sign-in. Because settings differ by browser, consult your browser's help pages for exact steps.

9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor a clearly communicated Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal by treating it as a request to decline non-essential cookies. Because there is no consistent industry standard for the older 'Do Not Track' header, we cannot guarantee uniform handling of it, but our default posture keeps non-essential cookies off until you affirmatively opt in.

10. Cookies Set by Sub-processors

Some cookies are set by the trusted providers that help us run the service, including Clerk (authentication), PostHog (analytics), and Customer.io (lifecycle messaging). These providers act under written agreements that limit how they may process data. A complete list of the sub-processors we rely on, with their processing locations, is published at /legal/subprocessors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our product and tooling evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, prompt you to review your consent choices. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
