Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 2026 — the rules for using AgentCorp and its agents responsibly.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs your use of AgentCorp and applies to every user, administrator, and connected integration under your account. It supplements our Terms of Service; where a conflict exists, the Terms control. Because AgentCorp lets you deploy AI agents that can take real actions on your behalf, this policy places obligations both on how you use the platform and on how you direct your agents to act.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use the platform to generate, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights. You may not use the service to create malware, phishing material, or content designed to deceive or defraud. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you submit and the outputs you act upon.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract the platform's source or models; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems without authorization; circumvent authentication, tenant isolation, or usage metering; or interfere with the integrity or performance of the service. Automated access outside our documented interfaces is prohibited without prior written consent.

4. No Autonomous Unlawful Actions

AI agents must not be configured or instructed to carry out actions that would be unlawful, deceptive, or harmful if performed by a person — including unauthorized access to third-party systems, market manipulation, unlawful surveillance, or evasion of legal or regulatory obligations. You remain fully responsible for the actions your agents take, and you may not use agent automation to distance yourself from conduct you could not lawfully perform directly.

5. Respect Human Approval Gates

Sensitive agent actions — such as sending external communications, moving money, or modifying connected systems of record — are subject to human approval gates. You may not disable, bypass, or automate away these approvals in a manner that removes meaningful human oversight where our platform or the law requires it. Approval gates exist to protect you, your counterparties, and the integrity of the service; treating approvals as a formality to be rubber-stamped at scale is a misuse of the platform.

6. Connected Channels and Anti-Spam

When you connect channels such as Gmail, Outlook, Slack, WhatsApp, or a CRM, you must use them in compliance with those providers' terms and with applicable anti-spam and communications laws. You may not use agents to send unsolicited bulk messages, harvest contacts without consent, impersonate others, or evade recipient opt-outs and rate limits. Marketing sent through connected channels must include required disclosures and honor unsubscribe requests.

7. Rate Limits and Fair Use

The platform enforces rate limits and credit-based usage ceilings to protect shared infrastructure. You may not artificially inflate usage, share a single subscription across unrelated organizations to avoid limits, or design workflows whose primary purpose is to exhaust or overwhelm platform or sub-processor capacity. We may throttle, queue, or temporarily suspend activity that threatens service stability for other customers.

8. Security and Integrity

You must safeguard your credentials and access tokens, promptly revoke access for departed users, and report suspected compromise. You may not upload malicious code, attempt to poison agent behavior through adversarial or prompt-injection content aimed at other tenants, or use the platform as a staging ground for attacks against third parties.

9. Third-Party Terms

Where your agents interact with third-party services through integrations, you are responsible for complying with those services' terms of use and API policies. AgentCorp provides the connective tooling but does not grant rights to use any third-party service in violation of its own terms.

10. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, depending on severity, warn you, throttle activity, disable specific agents or integrations, suspend the account, or terminate service. Where we reasonably believe there is a risk of ongoing harm, unlawful activity, or a threat to platform integrity, we may act immediately and without prior notice. We will use proportionate measures and, where practical, give you an opportunity to remediate.

11. Reporting Abuse

If you believe an AgentCorp account is being used in violation of this policy — for example, to send spam or conduct fraud — report it so we can investigate. We take abuse reports seriously and act on credible reports promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP as the product and threat landscape evolve. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-platform notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
